Create New Project Training

Welcome to the tutorial on how to create a project inside Ping Kaching. Think of Projects as folders and in this training page we will show you how to set up all the default settings of your folder.

This is the Create New Project Wizard – Getting Started page. This is where you enter your Project Name for reference purposes.

Getting Started on creating a new project

25 – Enter a Project Name field. This field is where you enter the Project Name for your reference. Text should be between 1-50 characters only.

26 – Back button. Clicking the Back button sends you back to the previous page.

27 – Forward button. Clicking this button sends you to the next page.

28 – Cancel button. Clicking Cancel sends you back to the Manage Projects page.

29 – Save & Exit button. Clicking this button saves your project details and sends you back to the Manage Projects page.

This is the Create New Project Wizard – Keywords page.

30 – Keywords field. This is where you enter your website’s keyword phrases which should be up to 99 characters only.

31 – Add More option. If you wish to use more than 4 keyword phrases for a specific project, just click this button and it will add another empty box for you to fill up.

32 – Keyword-Based Category option. Choose YES in the dropdown menu if you would like us to select categories that are based off your keywords. Choose NO if you like otherwise.

33 – Directory Categories field. This is where you type your categories. The category choices will be narrowed down as you type more characters in the empty field. Just select the categories you want to use for your project.

34 – Show all Categories option. If you click this option, a pop up box shows with the entire category list. You may either select the categories one by one or use Ctrl+Select on your keyboard and mouse to select multiple categories. There is also a Search function to make it easier for you to find your categories.

35 – Selected Categories area. This area shows all categories you selected for this particular project.

36 – Miscellaneous Category option. Select YES from the dropdown menu if you would like us to use Miscellaneous category if none of your selected categories match those in the actual sites we submit to. Choose NO if you like otherwise.

37 – Social Bookmarking Category field. Just tick the box beside the most appropriate bookmarking categories that apply to your site. You may select as few or as many as you like.

38 – First Name field. This is where you type the First Name you wish to use for this particular project’s submissions.

39 – Last Name field. This is where you type the Last Name you wish to use for this particular project’s submissions.

40 – Email Address field. This is where you enter your valid email address. This email will be used for the submissions and therefore would receive the confirmation emails from the sites we submit to.

41 – Save button. Click this button to save all information you provided. This also takes you to the Submission Options page.
