A: The first and last name and the email address you provide in the Submission Form tab will be used
in all your submissions by default. Once you have set this up, you have the option to hide these
information in all your projects and sub-URLs so the Pen Name info will not show in your New
Project Wizard and New URL Wizard forms anymore. The Pen Name will be greyed out. The same applies
to Categories and Keywords. Just tick the box and they will be hidden
Q: Do I need to fill out the SB/RSS Accounts tab?
A: YES. Our Team is still working on the Account Creation Tool so in the meantime you will have to
create your own SB/RSS accounts in the individual sites in the dropdown menu and add them to PK
for the RSS and Social Bookmarking feature to work. Please create an account in the following sites:
Yahoo Bookmarks
Google Bookmarks
Digg
Reddit
StumbleUpon
Diigo
Fark
DZone
Slashdot
Mister Wong
Yahoo Buzz
Tipd
Boingboing.net
Feedage
RSSmotron
Q: In my Google bookmark profile what should I name my public folder? Doest it matter? Also do Caps matter?
A: You could name it anything, it does not matter what name is used in your public folder. We
do recommend that you name it one of your primary keyword phrases if possible. Proper caps and
spaces matter. Here's a quick guide on creating a new list on Google Bookmarks:
1. Sign in to Google Bookmarks (http://www.google.com/bookmarks) with your Google account.
2. On the home page, click Create new list in the left-hand panel.
3. Type a name for your list. (E.g. "public folder","my folder", etc.)
4. By default, all lists are private so you have to click "Make Public".
5. Click Create list.
For Ping Kaching to work with your Google Bookmarks account, please make sure that you enter the exact name of your public list
or folder to the "public directory name" field in PK. Copy and paste to make sure that the name is entered correctly in
Ping Kaching. Use the Check button in the SB/RSS Accounts tab to make sure that your Google Bookmarks account work with Ping Kaching.
Alternatively, here's a video on how to set up your Google Bookmarks account into
Ping Kaching: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsirdSPulig
Q: What does the "Check" button do?
A: The "Check" button will log into your SB/RSS account and verify if the username and password
you entered into PK is correct. It will come up with a red error message "Username/Password Invalid"
if one or both of the details you provided is incorrect. PK will not be able to submit your
URLs to these sites unless the login are valid.
Q: What is the "Delete" button for?
A: If for some reason you do not wish to submit to any of the SB/RSS sites listed in the dropdown
menu, just click the "Delete" button and it will remove the site from the list. Click "Add New" if
you wish to add it to your list again.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: go to the Settings tab, click "settings" and enter your old password in the "Old Password" field.
Then enter a new password you want to use in the "Enter New Password" and "Confirm Password" fields.
Make sure that the password you entered match, and then click "Change". A green "Success" message
will be displayed if the password change is successful.

get indexed faster, gain back links and an opportunity for your website to be more visible. Below

selected by default.
5. Click the Submit button to initiate the submission.
6. All successful submissions will be shown in the Finished Submissions tab. Unsuccessful ones will be on the Failed Submissions tab.
In case of failed submissions, clicking Resubmit button usually resolves the problem.
Q: How do I know that all my urls have been bookmarked?
A: When using Ping Kaching, you can actually see the submission status in the software. When the SUCCESS
status is displayed, you may click that link and it will direct you to the actual page of the bookmark.
Alternatively, you may login to your bookmarking accounts and do a manual check.

status is displayed, you may click that link and it will direct you to the actual page of the bookmark.
Alternatively, you may login to your RSS accounts and do a manual check.
4.3. SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSION
Q. How should I be using the Search Engine submission feature? Can I
submit all my posts to search engines? Also, what advantage does this feature offer me?
A: Most people nowadays rely on Search Engines when searching for a product or service. Search Engine
submission is very important for webmasters with entirely new web sites because the process would
help them to get indexed faster and eventually get noticed by potential customers.
Some SEOs argue that it is better for a Search Engine to find your website through another method besides Search Engine Submission.
After testing dozens of websites I can verify that there is no negative effect to submitting your website to Search Engines. The real
advantage of the Search Engine submission feature is getting your website indexed in the smaller search engines that might take
months normally to find your site otherwise. These smaller search engines still have traffic but they don’t have advanced spiders that
can crawl like the larger search engines. Also, with the Search Engine submission feature you can pick up some extra visibility
and back links through sites like Alexa, Scrub the Web, etc.
Ping Kaching submits your URLs to more than 130 of the biggest search engines on the web. Below is a step-by-step instruction on how
to use the Search Engine Submission feature:
1. Assuming that you already added URLs to your Manage Projects tab, just select the URL you want to submit and click View Project.
2. Click the Submission Option button and select the SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSION button among the available and highlighted options.
3. You will be directed to the Ready Submissions tab where a huge number of Search Engines are listed. If there is anything among the
list that you do not wish your website to be submitted to, just uncheck or deselect the checkbox before it. All sites are selected by default.
4. Click the Submit button to initiate the submission.
5. All successful submissions will be shown in the Finished Submissions tab. Unsuccessful ones will be on the Failed Submissions tab.
In case of failed submissions, clicking Resubmit button usually resolves the problem.
Please note that the system will only allow you to submit your web site homepage because search engines only accept main URLs.
The Search Engine Submission option will be disabled for other subpages or sub URLs.
4.4. DIRECTORY SUBMISSION
Q: How should I use the directory submission feature? Isn't it
bad if I submit to all directories at the same time? Will Google detect this?
A: Directory Submission is proven to be a good method to gaining back links that would help increase
your search engine rankings and eventually raise your website traffic. Ping Kaching allows you to
submit your URLs to all directories on its list at the same time, but the theory of Google
detecting this and penalizing your site is very unlikely to happen. Though you submit to all at
the same time, your links will not appear overnight on all directories. Some may take a few days,
a few weeks or a few months. Every directory takes its own time in posting links to their website.
Then these links will need to be indexed by the search engines which will all happen randomly as well.
Below is a step-by-step instruction on how to use the Directory Submission feature:
1. Assuming that you already added URLs to your Manage Projects tab, just select the URL you want to submit and click View Project.
2. Click the Submission Option button and select the DIRECTORY SUBMISSION button among the available and highlighted options.
3. You will be directed to the Ready Submissions tab where a huge number of directories are listed. If there is anything among the list
that you do not wish your website to be submitted to, just uncheck or deselect the checkbox before it.
Please note that the system will only allow you to submit your web site homepage because directories only accept main URLs. The
Directory Submission option will be disabled for other subpages or sub URLs.
Q: Nothing shows in my Ready Submissions tab. What should I do?
A. Select the project and click EDIT. Then check if your DIRECTORY CATEGORIES are correctly set.
If you find it empty, choose your proper categories then SAVE & EXIT. This should correct the
problem. The system might not be detecting categories so no directories are showing in your
Ready Submissions tab.
4.5. PINGING SERVICE
Q: How should I be using the pinging feature inside PK? Do I submit each of my blog posts to this feature?
A: Ping Kaching's Pinging feature allows you to automatically notify search engines that your website
or blog has been updated. For non-Wordpress sites, we recommend using this feature every time you publish
a new blog post or update your website. For Wordpress users, there's an area in your control panel where you
can add/delete any website or blog that you want to be automatically pinged. Here is how to ping your
website using Ping Kaching:
1. Assuming that you already added URLs to your Manage Projects tab, just select the Website you want to submit and click View Project.
2. Click the Submission Option button and select the PINGING button among the available and highlighted options.
3. You will be directed to the Ready Submissions tab where the Search Engines are listed. If there is anything among the list that you do
not wish your website to be submitted to, just uncheck or deselect the checkbox before it.
5. MISCELLANEOUS
Q: How many sites can I submit to PK? Is there any limitations to what I can submit?
A: There is no limit to the number of websites or URLs you can promote using Ping Kaching. Though we
do not recommend submitting more than 6 URLs under the same project in a span of 24 hours. The
submissions should look as natural as possible and not spammy so we do not suggest submitting
all your URLs at once.
Q: When I view my Submission Options, only Social Bookmarking and Pinging are enabled. Why?
A: If you are trying to submit a main URL, send an
email to support@pingkaching.com using your registered
email and provide us with the exact URL so we can check. Also, please be reminded that sub URLs entered
into PK should only be submitted to social bookmarking and the status updater because the directories,
search engines and RSS sites do not accept sub URLs. That is why the options are automatically disabled.
Q: I am getting a "Submit Failure" error when doing submissions. How do I rectify this?
A: Most of the times, clicking the "Resubmit" button resolves the problem. If it does not, click the
"Submit Failure" link and take note of the exact error message and send it to us. Please also make sure that
your SB/RSS accounts are confirmed or validated. Often times submit failures are not an issue with
Ping Kaching but with the sites we submit to themselves. We do not own or control the sites we
submit to and with the huge volume of sites we support it is common practice for a few sites to be
down from time to time. There is not much to worry about here.
Q: I have new ideas and feature requests for PK, where should I send them?
A: Send an email to support@pingkaching.com or join our
discussion board on FaceBook.
6. SUPPORT REQUEST
Q: Where should I send a request for Support?
A: Requests for support posted on our FaceBook page, blog comments, youtube channel or twitter stream
will not be entertained and deleted. If you want proper support please send an
email to support@pingkaching.com using your registered email address.
We will be happy to assist you. You can also head over to our support page to get a whole range
of support. www.pingkaching.com/blog/support
