As Ping Kaching get’s closer and closer to releasing our software to the general market we just keep making more and more improvements. Unfortunately this latest improvement comes with a bit of an annoyance. Let me explain.
We were in such a hurry to get the Beta product of Ping Kaching out to our Traffic-Bug users that we didn’t have the software signed with an SSL Certificate. There was no danger to you the customer because we were the trusted developers of the application and we weren’t giving you anything shaddy. However, when we open up the application to the general market they may not be as trusting.
Previously when you downloaded Ping Kaching it quite possibly gave you several errors. Saying we were an untrusted developer, are you sure you want to install the application and do you trust the source. The application was just as secure but we hadn’t signed the application with a trusted SSL Cert at the time. So basically your computers firewall was throwing a kniption fit about it!
Now however, we have signed a secure SSL Cert and our software is officially proven to be safe. The only problem is we can’t sign the old application that your running with this Cert. So this is why you have to uninstall the old software and just reinstall the newest version of the software. All our other upgrades in the future and in the past have been seamless where it auto updates, and you can expect all future updates to be seamless again!
This latest update is another step forwards to bringing you a more and more powerful software each and every month! I really look forward to releasing our account creation tool which will become our single largest feature! It’s going to be awesome! Did I mention you will get it for free???

Steps to upgrade your Ping Kaching account:
1. Uninstall your current Ping Kaching application off your computer.
***NOTE: Un-istalling the program WILL NOT effect any of your stored data. All your settings, URLs, Projects, etc., is all stored over the cloud. Once you install the new application you will only have to re-enter your username and password and all other settings and URLs will be restored!****
