When submitting to sites like Twitter and Tumblr that have strict character restrictions which will limit how long of a URL you can enter. For situations like this its a great idea to shorten down your URL so that it leaves more room for your custom message. Using shortened URLs is also great for email promotions and with Ping Kachings built in tracking you can easily track how many customers clicked your link in the email.
Ping Kachings built in URL shortener uses 301 redirects so all page rank and authority flow through the shortened URL to your site.
Tiny URL Page.
99 – Original Address column. This shows your original URL or link.
100 – New Short URL column. This shows the shortened URL of your link.
101 – Hits column. This shows the number of clicks to your shortened URL.
102 – Delete button. Click this button to remove any shortened URLs in your list.
103 – Shorten New URL button. Click this button to shorten a new URL.

104 – Enter URL to shorten field. This is where you type or paste the original URL address.
105 – Cancel button. Click this button to cancel the function and go back to the Tiny URL page.
106- Create button. Click this button to create a new shortened URL.
Additional Notes:
Be sure you don’t use the Shortened URL for the normal Title fields or description fields that are used for Social Bookmarking. Social Bookmarking sites will accept your real URL only and using a shortened down URL in the Title will only cause your submission to be rejected or deleted down the road. You can however use the Tiny URL inside the special Status Updater Title box at the bottom of the Title page.
