On Sunday the Traffic-Bug system will be down for a little less than 24 hours.
As the Ping Kaching software is nearing completion of the first phase of Beta we are getting ready to migrate all customers to this new system. In order to move Traffic-Bug Customers to Ping Kaching we have to first update the database for all customers in Traffic-Bug. This is the first major step towards moving everyone to a supperior system.
When we finnially make the switch to Ping Kaching all customers information will seemlessly be transfered over to the new system automatically. This means you don’t have to re-input all the information and websites into the new system.
This configuration we are doing on Tuesday is very exciting. It is bringing us one step closer to the switch! I am excited for everyone to move to Ping Kaching so you ALL can see this new powerful system you will be getting AT THE SAME PRICE!
Over the next few weeks we will be releasing video’s and more information on the new system so you can really see what you are about to get! Also remember, that only current Traffic-Bug customers are going to get Ping Kaching at the same price. New customers are going to have to buy Ping Kaching at a higher price. So you really are getting something very special.
Until we release more information enjoy the video posted on our homepage as a little teaser!
(The features listed in the video are not nearly all the features Ping Kaching will have. Ping Kaching will be a all in one SEO promotion tool and will even be broken down into three payment tiers. We have extremely powerful features never before seen in development!)

Can old Traffic Bug customers come back and get back their old data prior to the switch?
Hey Michael,
Traffic-Bug data is stored on the hard drives of old customers for many months.
So chances are all your information is still intact.
We will allow customers to pick up their TB subscription right before the migration…This is highly recommended to avoid any price hikes. Though you will have to keep a close eye out so you don’t come in too late!
The new system is really quite superior in every way! So I am really excited for people to use the new system!
Love the name. Good luck with the launch of Ping Kaching. Looking forward to see what the new software can do.
We’ve been with you and Traffic Bug from the beginning and are super excited about seeing the new changes and what else you’ve got up your sleeve Robert. I’ll be watching closely.
I’m looking forward to try the new site. I used Traffic-bug, but wasn’t happy with the reporting.
Then you will LOVE Ping Kaching.
PKache puts the customer in full control!
You own all the accounts and not only get reports but can easily
log in and verify submissions or edit them at will.
Michael, please re-format your Responses section. The words on the left of the Responses are invisible and it makes it very difficult to grasp the context of what is actually stated in the Responses. Thanks.
Thanks for the info Jen!
This is still a new blog and were still formatting the site!
As a loyal Traffic Bug customer and Affiliate for the last several years, I am very excited about the upgrade. I look forward to trying out the new system as soon as it is up and running!
Good luck with the new sofware.
Are you going to translate all the site and software in french ?
Thanks Calberson for the wishes,
Regarding your question….
We are still brainstorming on the best solution for multiple languages.
The easy part would be to translate all the texts into multiple languages so anyone can easily use the system. However, about 75% of the sites Ping Kaching submits to only supports English. So in order to have a system that could submit multiple languages means we would have to add specific language sites one by one.
Another approach is to install a Google Translate feature that automatically translates customers texts into English.
So it’s a bit to think about…..
Anyhow, at this stage were open for suggestions.
Hi Michael,
I’m one of traffic bugs first clients and I’m interested to see how all of the new features will work.
Can’t wait for the release,
Mike
Will the current TB affiliate program and affiliate links work with your new service or will there be an additional affiliate scheme?
Hey San,
I wouldn’t call the affiliate program a “scheme”. Ping Kaching is a great product and those who choose can make a bundle re-selling it to others.
Ping Kaching WILL have a new affiliate program, however, we will seamlessly integrate the old TB system into the new system. So all your previous sales, etc., will still be kept!
hi there Guys
I have been using traffic-bug from day one and have been pleased with the way it has all worked for me. If the new system is going to give better results than the previous one then we are all going to be REALLY pleased.
Thanks for the compliments Geoff.
Ping Kaching is a much more powerful system and puts the customer in full control.
Not only do the existing Traffic-Bug features work better on Ping Kaching,
but we will have many many new features for customers to enjoy at the base level!
Great to hear we will have a better and more powerful working software with new features with Ping Kaching.
Looking forward to this Mike! A more powerful system and a full reporting option? Sounds like Xmas has come early this year. Pete
Haha Pete,
I guess I just need to put a bow on it eh?
More power and full reporting are really just the starting point for the base system.
Automatic TINY URL creator and the super powerful Account creation and Social Profile Creator….
*drools*
Dare I say more!
The system will rock!
Will the new software allow URLs to be re-submiited after amendments to them are made, or will we still need to remove the existing URLs and re-enter them ?
Cheers
Baz
@Baz,
Well yes and no.
If you have the system submit a URL to directory submissions the system will NOT let that URL to be submitted again.
(We are doing this to weed out Spammers and keep up the integrity of the system and sites we submit to.)
For RSS submission there is no need to resubmit after a simple edit. The very nature of RSS sites automatically will adjust to your new content.
And with Social Bookmarking it will work differently than Traffic-Bug. With Ping Kaching you will actually OWN the accounts the software submits to.
So in theory you could just resubmit or even go in and delete the URL from the SB sites and then resubmit.
“Scheme”, “system”, “program”, “plan”, we all spin enough text these days to know there is more than one word for something, and that different places call things by different terms
Will the affiliate thing be for recurring payments for the life of the subscriber,or just a one off payment like the current TB model? I assume my current affiliate link will work for the new system?
Thanks
I got your drift San!
The affiliate program we will offer on Ping Kaching will be around 40% and it will be recurring payments for the life of the customer.
So you can make roughly $11 per month per customer you sign up, and that’s just at the lowest tier we will offer. Lots of potential for upsells.
(If you sign up just 100 customers you will be raking in $1,000+ per month on automatic.)
Regarding your last question about the same affiliate link….I am thinking there will be a new affiliate link.
We are going to be sticking with iDevAffiliate but we are doing a new system. It’s all a bit early for me to know the exact details at this point.
Is the interface still the same? Do we log into the old system or use a new URL? I have lots of new data to input and I’m wondering if I should wait.
Hello Jason,
It’s actually a whole new interface, new software, new features, etc.
It won’t have a web based interface like Ping Kaching has.
We are switching it to a more powerful system that puts the customer in full control.
So we have built Ping Kaching on the Adobe Air platform….(Think Market Samurai)
Lots of flexibility and power on that platform.
Go ahead and enter all your data you have now into TB. The data base configuration we just did
will allow us to seamlessly transfer all your TB data right into the new software! So you won’t loose anything!
Great to see you moving this to the next level. IM automation is the only thing that’s going to save my sanity! I like the ‘Slow Dribble’ of directory submissions the last T-B update brought – and hope that continues.
Hopefully Ping Kaching will streamline Category selection (which I’m sure is a nightmare to try to align with all the API’s out there.)
Most of all tho – this transition really needs to produce rapid, visible and verifiable Do-Follow backlinks that make it readily apparent P-K is hard at work. Things such as injecting new site additions into a realtime Tweet or Identi.ca stream would be a nice touch.
I agree with you MacGizmoGuy,
automation on these kind of things is the only way to go!
With Ping Kaching you are in 100% full control of the automation. So you can slow dribble directory submissions or just blast out all of them in a single moment.
It’s completely up to each customer!
Category selection has been a nightmare to try to overcome! Between all the different directories and social bookmarking sites we submit to there were over 10,000 unique categories that all needed to be mapped and organized. UGH!
Though with Ping Kaching we took the time to even make category selection a breeze for the customer. It offers lots of smart features. It will automatically take your keywords from your site and then use that as the basis to find categories and even offers a unique search box where you can just type in category names, etc. The entire data entry process has been majorly improved. We will even be working on Word Press and Word Press Direct plugins so soon as you make a post it automatically forwards all the information right into the Ping Kaching system! *Talk about automation!
Do-Follow links….CHECK
The Ping Kaching system will have multiple tiers where it offers such features from directory submission, rss submission, social bookmarking submission to article submission, comment posting, etc.
So it really will be a all in one SEO PROMOTION and OPTIMIZATION tool.
Love Traffic-Bug and been with you since the beginning. When you say that Ping Kaching will have three tiers, will current TB customers be coming in at the high tier?
Glad you like it Harry and I am sure you will love PKache even more!
Traffic-Bug customers will be coming in at the low tier. However,
they will be getting more features than the current Traffic-Bug system and will be getting a discount no one else will receive.
So the benefits are quite high.
We are even playing around with pricing for the higher tiers to make them even lower to old TB customers.
The highest tier Ping Kaching will offer is really quite mind blowing and hasn’t been done before. The feature runs us a high monthly cost per customer
and so we are forced to have a higher price on this final tier. Though this feature won’t be out until around Mid’ish 2011.
When will Ping Kaching be ready?
Sounds awesome…I am one of your original members…can’t wait….
This sounds like a cool platform. It will be interesting to see it launch. Good luck, and Merry Christmas too.
I’ve got a few websites I want to add to Traffic-Bug, but I think I will just wait to see what the new interface will entail.
Are you still in Beta?
I joined the TB during the challenge 2010 and really love it. When all new features of PK will realized and become available?
We will be releasing our time table next week! It’s really coming along quickly and were just wrapping up a few things! Stay tuned for next week’s post so you know when to expect it!
I am so excited about PK. I have been hearing so much about this service.
I am still using the trial version of TB via 30DC and will expire 40 days from now.. Will i be able to get the discounted price for PK when it started? Or i should pay now to guarantee the special price?
Thanks and more, more power!
@Zarah
I am sure you will like the new service very very much!
If you still have a free trial available to you then by all means keep using that. We will make it clear by sending you an email as well as posting info in your TB account when the time has come to upgrade. Don’t you worry!
Michael I loved the trial and if Ping Kaching has one more feature than this I sold. Great product . I just wish someone introduced it to me earlier.
